Short answer: We don't collect any personal information.

Forta reads workout data from Apple Health on your device to create workout cards and animations. This data is processed entirely on your iPhone and is never transmitted to any external servers.

We do not:

• Collect your name, email, or any personal identifiers
• Store your workout or health data on our servers
• Track your location or movement patterns
• Monitor your app usage or behavior
• Use cookies or tracking pixels

When you use Forta, your workout data flows like this:

1. Apple Health stores your workout data on your iPhone
2. Forta requests read access to this data (with your permission)
3. The data is processed locally to create your card or animation
4. The final image/video is saved to your device or shared directly

At no point does your health data leave your device through our app. When you share to Instagram or other platforms, you are sharing the final created image or video - not your raw health data.

Forta integrates with Apple Health using Apple's official HealthKit framework. This integration:

• Requires your explicit permission before accessing any data
• Only requests read access to workout data (we can't write or modify)
• Respects Apple's strict privacy guidelines for health data
• Can be revoked at any time in your iPhone Settings

To manage Forta's access to your health data, go to:
Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Forta

Forta uses minimal third-party services:

• Apple Intelligence: For AI-generated captions, processed on-device using Apple's private AI framework
• Instagram API: Only when you choose to share directly to Instagram Stories - this shares the created image, not health data

We do not use any analytics services, crash reporting tools, or advertising frameworks that would collect your data.

Since we don't collect or store your data, there's nothing to secure on our end. Your health data is protected by:

• Apple's device encryption
• Your iPhone passcode/Face ID/Touch ID
• Apple Health's built-in security measures
• iOS app sandboxing (apps can't access each other's data)

Forta does not knowingly collect any information from children. Since we don't collect any personal information from any users, this policy applies equally to users of all ages.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

If we ever make significant changes that affect your privacy, we will provide notice through the app before the changes take effect.
